I thrust these various things in your direction

Mon Apr 27, 2009, 12:02 AM
I just spent the day listening to Marshal Hunter (yes, that is his real and completely awesome name) who is a kind and lovely man. He was describing the setting and the concepts behind Rise of Aester, a Steampunk LARP that he and a whole bunch of friends are putting together. The world and the ideas are so amazing... there is a lot of potential here!

If you are interested in the idea of an inspiring steampunk LARP, go check out the site and get involved. He will be doing some national traveling soon to promote the game, and I can't wait to start playing at Steamcon in October...

This fellow just did my business card design, and he's amazing... do peruse his unique work!

Sam O'Hara is a fantastic artist and kind lady who I have started collaborating with recently under the title Collected Worlds, I can't wait to show you the stuff we are going to be doing! If this collaboration goes smoothly, I want to expand and see if I can't grow Collected Worlds into an honest to goodness force for evil in the haunted palace of fashion. Here is her site:

Check out these panoramas taken of Stephen Bard's wonderfully weird home:

I met Stephen after the Anachrotechnofetishism show in October, and we've been chatting a bit. He's a nice guy, and he's really supportive of the arts (as you an see here). Seriously... look at the link.

upcoming soon:

Collected Worlds @ The Dimensional Fashion Show in Seattle, May 23rd
Molly Friedrich's Waking Antiquity @ Maker's Faire, San Mateo CA, May 30th
