Greetings, dreamers and waking folk!

Good news, SteamPunk Magazine 5 is finally out:

Magpie, Libby and crew always do an amazing job on it, so be sure to order a copy or peruse the online version.

I had a great time at NorWesCon this last weekend, and am working to fill my calendar with other delightful events. I finally feel like I am figuring out how to run a proper looking table.

So, I am going to mention here that I will be at Maker's Faire in San Mateo during the last weekend of May this year! I am very much looking forward to it.

I am also going to be hosting a panel or three at Steamcon, here in Seattle in October. It looks like its going to be a wonderful weekend devoted to nothing but retrofuturism and neo-victorian insanity!

I am also going to be taking part in a Interdimensional Art and Fashion Show in May:

...and possibly more, like Oracle and DragonCon, depending on how things work out. Sometime in here I will mtry to make time for some interesting art projects that I have in the pipeline! I can't wait... 2009 looks like its going to be a most beautiful challenge!

I have been trying really hard to lower my costs and prices, and design stuff that isn't made of antique parts... its a tough economy! Its a hard time to be trying to figure out how to make a living as an artist :|

yeah, my steampunk stuff was doing ok on the BJD forums, but now they're just sitting around. it's always art/artist that suffers during the hard times :'(
