Scavengers Treat by porkshanks Scavengers Treat by porkshanks
Brenna had belonged to one of the homesteads that had gotten set up and running a few years before the great collapse of 2012. She had never expected the horrors that came, nor the wars and riots and suffering, but she was now a member of one of the thirty seven Cascadian Tribes.

She mostly spent her days digging holes near the new coastline, looking for old settlements and landfills. She had once struck it rich and found an abandoned antique store that hadn't been raided yet.

She made this necklace from her favorite little bits she found in that store. You have to keep moving these days, so she wore a lot the bits that would eventually find their way into more elaborate sculptures back at the family yurt.

Your work is simply fantastic. Do you sell from a store, online... or, are they just personal creations? They're all so unique and gorgeous :wow:

I sell personally through the email right now, and I have some items up on the suite100 gallery website currently. Although I do consider everything I make to be a personal creation since I put my essence into each one as I bring it into this world from the one it came from originally.

thanks!

yeah GeorgieChaos always offeres up great interpretations and always seems to have great questions about the stories and art... not that others don't... just GeorgieChaos is one of the ones who is very consistent with it.

But they're still in the configuration she placed them in in the antique shop. So either this is a replica, or it was somehow removed from Brenna on her way home. Considering the environment...Oh NO!

No need to stop. In some situations horror is a necessary emotion, without which we would be monsters ourselves.
And as far as storytellers go...Well, a well construced horror can be quite an achievement.
