Chiron Dhalmenssi first developed the personal shielding array technology utilized in the Phase Frequency Adjuster back during the Last War. It was the personal shield that allowed the armies of the Stalwart Kingdoms to gain an upper hand on the invading Silver Skins and their powerful spark sword technology.

The idea was brilliant in its simplicity; when someone comes at you with a sword that can cleave nearly any substance... become insubstantial.

The emitter on the front of the device will glow with green and blue lights that quickly flash and flicker when it is first activated (small LED lights flash for about 10 seconds). After the field harmonics are set however, the lights cease.

That cracked me up. Your stories that go with each piece are always very nice, they give the piece more meaning. And the piece is awesome, I like the inclusion of clockwork in this one - I like clocks a little too much. And the LED light is a neat idea as well
