Just finished this piece... literally about half an hour ago, which is about 7 am Pacific time. We finally got all the parts and electronics together last night about 8 pm and I've been working straight through the night to make sure it was ready for transport today when we start the drive down to California for Maker's Faire!
So I will have better pictures after this weekend, and some video demonstrating the light effects that happen when its played live... but I wanted to show a preview for those of you who may be curious after reading my last blog post about this project.
I am really happy with how it came together, Phil did a grand job of getting the electronics to do what I was hoping they would do!
Have a great weekend everyone, and if any of you do come to Maker's Faire, please stop by the Steampunk Spectacular section and say hi, and see more items on display from myself and a whole bunch of the most esteemed steampunk inventors, like Jake VonSlatt, Datamancer, Magpie of Steampunk Magazine, Libby Bulloff, The Legion Fantastique and many others!
