This is a mean looking clockwork detail that I have done for Nathaniel Johnstone, guitarist of Abney Park and gunner of The Ophelia.

When the guitar was handed over to my care, it had already undergone modifications by Robert Brown of Abney Park. I was asked to create something that would both compliment and expand on the existing design. He did some really cool stuff to it, and I am proud I was able to blend what he did into what I wanted to do with it, and that it looks like a cohesive finished piece.

After working out a rough idea in person with Mr. Johnstone, the work took place over a couple of nights and a handful of revisions to suit the customer's refined sensibility. In the end, Mr. Johnstone was really happy with the result.
