This is part of a portable interface for an old gas powered Airship Navigolem. How I came to possess one of these is perhaps a tale for another time, but I can say it involves the Duke of Linlin's personal maidservant and a large cask of vintage Pom Da'cour Mushroom Wine.

Turns out this one doesn't even work any more, which is not something one needs to discover in the middle of a battle. Apparently everything was fine until we set the timer to fire the engines and plot course for due west. This combination somehow caused the Navigolem to simply shunt all heat to the starboard engines and... well, it wasn't a pretty scene.

The explosion did take out an Imperial fleet destroyer, so that was... something.

Will trade this item for a new parachute!

I like the tight spirals on the wire work and the general intricacy of the whole presentation. (I mean, besides the details on the work itself, you always include such interesting descriptions.)
