[link] The debate had been set upon the table and our traveler had become a representative of sorts. As one who once helped to lead a massive upheaval in the Above, the traveler was seen as an item for scrutiny. The systems engaged in the debate in the background, setting tests and compiling data as life continued on for those involved. This was a matter with no deadline, and so the conflict was handled with little haste. The matter at hand? Only the fate of a certain planet's inhabitants. There was a faction which saw these inhabitants as nothing more than glorified bacterium, capable of consuming, reproducing, and befouling all that did not bend to their singular mindset. There was also a faction that believed these tiny beings were capable of amazing understanding, giving, and beauty. And then there were the others. Us. The random drifters, outsiders, and witnesses to events of the history of these people... all of called to the attend to this debate with whatever information might be necessary to come to a decision. Our traveler had been sleeping for some time, and when the call came, the traveler did what most sentients who had dealt with the system do... try to escape involvement. However no such luck was to be had. The system was concerned that the traveler was present at this location for a specific goal of some kind. The truth was that the traveler had simply begun to try and live a life anew in a fresh place... a simple place with what it felt were a mostly charming people that were well worth defending. Many of them had taken the traveler in and given full hospitality, even through the strange extended Casacading Snowfall of last year, and the resulting flooding of the Foglands, Mt. Desolation, The Rings of the Lost Moon, and the Valley of Lunar Blood. This neck piece is dedicated to the inhabitants of those places who have endured The Trials thus far, I promise to represent your honor before the Court of the Unseen System. Background: this is a one of a kind piece of wearable art, made from primarily antique and vintage parts. The etched metal shapes are generally dated to the late 1800s and early 1900s. Every design I make is unique and will never be replicated. I use wire wrapping techniques and epoxy to bond these parts together in a manner that ensures a very long life should they be taken care of. Thank you, and may your journey be full! |

The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four Americans is suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If theyre okay,
then its you.

P.S. It is of course possible that this message is a trap. If it is I can deal with it.
P.P.S. I'm leaving this note in case I can't!

"A mediocre idea that generates enthusiasm will go further than a great idea that inspires no one." Mary Kay Ash
It's far too easy to pull the wool over the eyes of sheep who yield in the stead of mediocrity. They'll never realize they've seen it before.
