I have been getting a lot of comments from people over the last couple months that they really like the look of the Bevor-Gorget that I made. I even got some people asking me if I would make some to sell, so I have started to do just that.

The 3 featured in this image have just been listed on my Etsy page:

The fabric ones are $60, and the faux leather ones are $100 because they are hand stitched and take a while to make.

well, its a fair price for customers and it gets me enough profit to warrant making them. If I start selling more than I can make, then of course I will have to rise the price, but I don't seem to be having that particular problem quite yet XD

did you try a leather sewing needle for the machine? they work really well, it'll probably save you some time! or do you not use a machine at all? because the top stitching is amazingly straight.

the problem isnt the needle so much as the feeddogs like to tear up the surface of the naugahyde i use.

Can you not disengage the feed dogs and push the material through by hand on your machine?
