The arrows pointing up indicate the top of the part. The arrows pointing to the side indicate the forward facing edge. The back can be zippered or corseted depending on your preference. I did a zipper on mine cuz I'm lazy and shiz.
These are the sewing lines, remember to leave a 1/2 inch or 1/4th inch overlap when cutting them out.
I'd love to see people run with this design, please let me know if you use it and if you have any feedback, thanks! I made this for me, but if other people like it, I will be glad to post more patterns in the future.
oh, now this really makes me miss my sewing machine. i'll be sure to do something with this when I get back to it.

Do I see footprints on some of the pattern pieces? I'm gonna be all fussy and ask what the length of your center/middle front is. Just for comparisons sake.
I saw that yours hugged your neck quite closely...As I'm a 'n00b' at this sort of thing: which area would I need to adjust to loosen it up in the neck area? I think I know, but I'd rather know before I get to cutting the leather
Oh, and RadiateGirl's length question is a good one, too

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
