A mysterious item from the Harwich Banfeld collection labeled simply "item 34: unnerving trident'.
The eye seems to have a pulse when observed under miscroscope, even though this item has been stored for over 60 years in a box. It is also unknown what the key will open.
How this came into the possession of the Banfeld Collection is even more mysterious, as any attempts at making written records of it go missing or ruined within days and pictures deteriorate abnormally fast.
Saulo Westren of the Technocultist Guild went missing seven weeks after studying the item, and the Guild is not answering telegraphic communique.
I love the title of this, and the story behind it fits perfectly. This may sound weird, but I'd love to see more of the cord it's hung from. It looks practical rather than decorative - all frayed and worn, like it's hung from the neck of some old janitor for years. I mean this in a nice way, it suits the nature of the piece and the story behind it.
Very nice job! I just love the scrappy/metal/post-apocaliptic/fallout-like things you do!
I love the contrast of the hard-edged man-made pieces to the beautiful blue woven strand.
Very nice use of clock-key, and...I lack words. Awe.
