This is a specially created device that Chordists will use in order to help initiates with their chakra alignments and energizing practice.

There are seven small glass jars, and each jar holds seven small crystals. Each jar is chorded to the wearer's energetic web form, and they help in keeping things in balance while the young Chordist goes through the rather arduous and strange dimensional waking process. In the middle stages of the waking process, it is quite normal for the conventional timespace reality to literally unravel and for the unseen to make itself known through some particularly harrowing methods.

I can see this being used as some sort of emergency tool. If captured, unbeknowing capture forces are unlikely to strip someone of innocuous looking jewelry. By combining the crystals in a certain formula, it could create an emergency gateway (Since it is tied to their unique energy form, it could send them back home, through time and space), or even a simple explosive capacity (Blow the lock on the door).

Then again, I tend to be pragmatic about all that I carry. My simple silver ring can be used as a light-bouncing signal, or as a mirror :P
